Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Bravos (bravos.one) is a career platform based in Uppal, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It offers a job board, separate portals for employers, consultancies and hiring managers, a resume builder, and Bravos Drive for storing files. In this policy, "Bravos", "we" and "us" mean the team that runs bravos.one, and "you" means anyone who visits or uses it.

2. What we collect

We only collect what you give us, or what the site needs in order to work.

Your account

Your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored only in a scrambled (hashed) form that nobody at Bravos can read.

Your profile

What you choose to add: phone number, location, experience, skills, notice period, preferred locations and your resume.

Job applications

When you apply for a job, we keep a copy of the resume and phone number you sent with that application, so the recruiter sees exactly what you submitted.

Bravos Drive

The files and folders you upload, and who you have shared them with.

Messages

Messages you send and receive on Bravos.

Recruiter accounts

For employers, consultancies and hiring managers: your work email, company name, website, location, company identification number (CIN) if given, logo, and the jobs you post.

Contact form

Your name, email and message when you write to us through the Contact page.

Technical information

Our servers record basic request details, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.

3. Signing in with Google

If you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with Bravos. We use them only to create your account or sign you in, and to fill in your name and email so you do not have to type them.

We do not receive your Google password, and we do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendar or any other Google data.

Bravos's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

You can disconnect Google from your Bravos account at any time in Account settings, or remove Bravos from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/connections.

4. How we use it

• To run your account and sign you in.
• To show your applications to the recruiters you apply to, and to let you message each other.
• To send emails you have asked for, such as job alerts and application updates. Every alert email has an unsubscribe link.
• To verify recruiter organisations before their jobs go live, so candidates can trust the listings.
• To answer your questions and keep the site secure.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show third party advertising on Bravos.

5. Who can see it

• Recruiters you apply to see that application: your name, email, the phone number and resume you sent, your profile details, and any cover letter.
• Verified recruiters searching for candidates can find your profile only if you tick "Let verified recruiters find me in the candidate database" in your profile. It is off unless you turn it on.
• People you share Drive files with see those files and nothing else.
• The Bravos team can see account details when needed to verify recruiters, handle a report, or answer a request from you.
• Service providers who host our servers and send our emails process data only on our behalf.
• Authorities, if the law requires us to share information.

6. Cookies

Bravos uses only the cookies the site needs to work: one that keeps you signed in, and one that protects forms against forgery. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile, resumes, Drive files and messages within 30 days. Copies of applications you already sent may stay with the recruiter who received them. Server logs are kept for a short time for security and then removed.

8. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct or update it (most of it you can change yourself in your profile and Account settings);
• delete it, along with your account;
• stop sending you emails, at any time.

Write to support@bravos.one from the email address on your account. We will reply within 30 days.

9. Security

Bravos is served only over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, Drive files and application resumes are stored outside the public part of the server and are only handed out after checking who is asking, and access to the servers is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and tell us at once if you notice anything wrong.

10. Age limit

Bravos is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will remove it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect.
